Simple Changes, Big Statements

Change is good, as so they say. I like to switch up my home at least once or twice a year. I don’t mean in a huge, expensive way, but really in the little details like small accent colors. This can easily be done by adding different types of plants, vases, throw pillows, or a rug. Including some different textures is a sure fire way to make a difference with minimal effort (wood, mixed metals, etc.). I’m always looking for something different to do in my home to make a little more unique each time I change things up. I recently added some floating shelves on my bedroom wall above my computer to create some depth. I decorated them with bold books, small plants, and a rose gold lamp (I guess it would be better if I included a picture here). Here’s some ideas to make big differences in your home with minimal work.

1.  Colorful Doors

2.  Pops of Color

3.  Marble and Metal

4.  Wall Decals

5.  Plush Pillows

6.  Heavy Knit

7.  Accent Rugs

8.  Plant Life

9.  Matte Black

10.  Rustic Chests
